Commemoration of The War of 1812
June 13-19, 2012
Baltimore was the fourth city visited by the tall ships in the three-year national celebration commemorating the War of 1812 and the Star-Spangled Banner.
The "Star-Spangled Sailabration" featured the Inner Harbor festival with more than 40 international tall ships and navy vessels, and an air show by the Navy's Blue Angels.
The theme, “Our Flag Was Still There,” will continue to mark the upcoming festivities in these ports: Boston (June 30 - July 5), and New London (July 6 - 8).
